Will I get rescinded for these first semester senior grades?

Hi! So thankful that I got accepted to Columbia via ED.

This year was the first year that I dual enrolled with a state university. I’m taking 3 high school classes and 2 college classes. With the added weight of college admissions, transitioning into college classes, personal issues (mental health, family financial situation)… this first semester has proven to be a bit stressful and challenging.

So far, I am predicting my first sem grades will be

AP Euro: A
AP Lang: A
AP Calc: B or B-

4-credit introductory physics course with lab: C
3-credit comparative government political science class: A- or B+

I am SO deathly afraid that these grades will get me rescinded. Does anyone have any insight on this?

The thing with the physics class, I literally just chose not to attend one exam because I had a serious mental breakdown an hour before the exam. I know, it’s awful. I couldn’t stand anything in the moment. I ended up getting a 90% on the final though.

OH!! I am NOT majoring in STEM. I am majoring in a social science.

Just realized one could argue a social science could fall under STEM. I’m not majoring in engineering, physics, math, or any natural science.

No. Just don’t get a D.

You will not get rescinded for a single C, nor even for a C and two B’s.

You might got a “shape up” or “warning” letter if you got straight C’s, but even then I would think it would be out of genuine concern for what would be a dramatic change in your pattern.

They accepted you because they know you can be successful there. Congrats. Don’t give them anything to worry about.
