So I just finished my 2nd semester as a senior in highschool with a 2.83 unweighted gpa. I got 1 A, 3 B’s, and 2 C’s. My weighted gpa for 2nd semester of 12th grade is 3.33 according to rogerhub.com (https://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/). So would i get rescinded from UCSC?
What did your admission letter say?
I got off the waitlist and they said to make sure I meet the Conditions of Admissions Contract. http://admissions.ucsc.edu/apply/conditions-faq.html
According to that it says don’t get any grade lower than a C, but i thought there was a gpa component to it as well. But I am not sure about that.
Oh yeah forgot to mention but my gpa from 10-12 is a 3.1 and i also got a 2.83 1st semester of senior year. So my grades have been consistent but yeah I am still not sure if I would get rescinded.
What was your GPA for 10-11?
Whoops 10-11 is 3.083 and 10-12 will be 3.0
So as long as your senior year GPA is >2.083 then you are good.
This question got me wondering, if my overall GPA from freshman to senior year is about 3.4-3.5 but when I applied my first term GPA was 4.25 from AP Art class, would I get rescinded from my second term being 3.25 even though it’s more consistent w/ my overall GPA, but still a point lower than first term’s? 3rd term was a 4.0 and 4th term was a 3.75 if that clears anything up.
Has anyone knowledge of an admit getting rescinded yet?
