Will I get rescinded?

So I just got off the waitlist at UC davis for engineering and I sir’ed to cal poly. Im currently doing dual enrollment at a local CC and I wrote down that Ill take physics 1: mechanics. I’m taking it this quarter, but Im thinking of dropping it. We get back our first midterm results on Monday, so if I don’t do well, then Ill drop. Our teacher said the first midterm is hard but is easy as pi compared to what youre gonna see later.

I asked cal poly if they’ll rescind me if I drop, and they said no. I called UC davis today, and they said I’d have to fill out a coursework change form, and then they’ll decide. The thing is my decision to accept my position is on wednesday, so if
I fill out the form on monday (which is when I get my exam back hopefully), i dont think ill get a response back in time. I dont want to commit to uc davis and then get rescinded. If it helps, I got A’s in all my other classes. I have 49 quarter credits at community college with a 3.96.

Thanks!

They’re happy to have a very qualified person enter their pgm (and the accompanying tuition). I’ll bet you that you’re fine.

@T26E4 thanks! How sure are you about that?

It’s impossible to be sure unless one works in the admissions office at UCDavis. But I agree with @T26E4. You’re qualified and they want your tuition money; you won’t be rescinded.

holy cow… i got an 88. no idea how!!!
