“Admitted students had an average combined SAT score ranging from 1420 to 1550, and an average comprehensive ACT score ranging from 28 to 31. Additionally, more than 60% of the admitted students were ranked in the top 10% of their high school graduating class with an average high school GPA of about 3.7”. So I think you have a good chance for Wake with a higher ACT score.

Have you visited Wake? - Wake is a kind of love it or hate it school.

you will get in. can you explain what you mean ncmentor?

This is from someone another thread — “My son just visited Wake Forest and loved the school. He loved the big ACC sports, the many traditions, the challenging academics and the size. He felt the people were driven, yet were social, fun, outgoing and more well-rounded compared to other schools like Davidson and Yale. However, we hear the “party police” are so strict that there is either no social life or kids are sent to courts often. My son is not a big party person, but even my GC said you really have to understand the difference between most college and WF. This leads to a higher than normal existence of binge drinking and hospital visits.”

To me it “kind of says it all” - Of course this is a stereotype but schools can get them for a reason. I find Wake to be an “all on” or “all off” kind of place and have been amazed to be on campus several times and not seen students walking of just hanging out at what is a beautiful campus.

It’s not that I dislike Wake, it’s just that I don’t understand how it defines itself other than by the fact that it’s name and football team are well known. I would advise the careful reader to search “Wake Forest” here and look for more informed opinions. But disregard the “can I get in threads”.
