can being hispanic help the really low gpa at a school that has AA like Wake?

I am assuming the 3.4 is not weighted?? You may want to mention your GPA in one of your Wake essays somehow. Wake is known for grade deflation, so a 3.4 should not scare them too much, and could show that you care more about taking classes that you find challanging rather than getting the easy A.
Your chances look good. I did not see any community service, make sure that is not left out of your application. Wake's motto is "for humanity".

um I think my school weighs them.

and I should prob. add in that i've done 2 service projects, and 25+ hours of community service in addition to those 2 projects. and i've also joined this comm. service group thing too.

"can being hispanic help the really low gpa at a school that has AA like Wake?"

Won't hurt your shot. The answer to your question would be revealed when it's all over. Good luck.

i'll bump...b/c i'm bored

is the 3.4 weighted or unweighted?

W i think that's how my school does it

I think your gpa will hurt you but since you took a hard courseload and then proved yourself on the SAT's i think u wil get in.

question: so are hispanics who apply like a slam dunk?
