I'm a nontraditional student, just recently started back to school after a ten year break. I took 12 credits this summer and have my last 17 for an AA already scheduled for fall. My goal is to transfer into UCF in spring after I have my AA.
My GPA from college should be just a bit over a 3.5 when I finish, my high school gpa was 3.8 but no difficult courses taken unfortunately. I took the SAT for the first time in May and got a 1960 overall and a 1370 for math and reading.
I've started the application process, I originally applied for this fall but decided to finish my AA first and see how I did after ten years away from the books. I managed straight A's this semester so I'm feeling a lot more confident about the decision to go back to school. I filled out my FAFSA and have an EFC of 0.
Will starting in spring permanently ruin my chances for financial aid or do they review it again in fall?
