Since there will be no accurate material other than the new SAT Blue Book, wouldn’t there be a more generous curve in place for the first new test? Is this what happened on the first new SAT in 2005? The new SAT is much more to my strengths(tougher algebra, less geometry, more practical vocab). I was planning on getting the new blue book when it comes out and study soon to get a head start. Should I take the first one where I’ll be more prepared than most or wait until the second/third testing date?
Why not take the new PSAT this October and see how you do on that?
I am, but that’s not what I was asking. I was asking if the curve would be better on the first test since it is harder to prepare for it.
They are using the scores from both the March and April tests to determine the scoring for those tests. Scores for both of those test dates are supposed to come out in May. So, I don’t know whether it will be easier, but the advantages/disadvantages of the 1st and 2nd tests should be comparable to each other.
I didn’t know this! So even if I take the March test, I would have to wait until May to get my result? Thank you for the help.
