I have taken so many tests during my four years of high school. I've gotten 31 and 33 on Act. I also took the SAT twice both times i got 2010( I know what are the chances) My highest critical reading is 630 math is is 750 and writing is 670. I have taken a bunch of subject tests. My highest two are 750 in math and 760 in chem. But I have also taken a bunch of biology and history. Their scores are all low 700s. I'll be applying to Penn CAS ED. Since Penn requires all test scores to be sent, are the my low sat scores going to hurt me? Btw, I'm Asian girl from Cali which is a super competitive demographic. Thanks CC!

Well… yeah. I mean, every part of your application is considered so it won’t necessarily break you, but the point of holistic admissions processes is that everything is taken into consideration.

Well there is no way this is going to help you, especially since you are asian… But as the above poster has said everything matters and test scores are just one part.

“Penn will pay attention to the highest scores from any test when reviewing a candidate’s application, but having the complete testing profile provides deeper insight.”

Obviously, they want all scores for a reason other than to make more work for themselves. That being said, at least you are not trying to game the system by not sending in all scores and there is something to be said for integrity. Maybe that’s something they’re looking at as well :)

ohh i see so any test would mean they’ll pay attention to the ACT and the subject tests right? they’re gonna ignore the sat?
