Will misdemeanor make Michigan State University rescind my acceptance?

So, A couple nights ago I posted a stupid joke on facebook about my teacher and his daughter. I've been suspended, and if he presses charges I'll get a misdemeanor for harassment.

I've been accepted to MSU, Indiana, Penn State, Hofstra, among others. Will this misdemeanor make it such that these colleges rescind my acceptance? Will I not be able to go to school?

Please help

Someone please help :(

If it were about another student I would think the colleges would give you a pass. About a teacher… I don’t know. You’ll need to contact them about it and exhibit contrition.

Get a lawyer.

If it will happen, it will happen. The answer you get won’t change the future.

Lawyer up and fight the charge.

I certainly plan to, I just dont know if what will happen if it does. I get that I’m going to have to get through whatever if it does happen, but I’m just trying to figure out what I could potentially be in store for.

@Erin’s Dad: It was about a teacher’s daughter. Who is also a student at the school.

bump please post :(
