Will my admission be rescinded?

I was accepted to SDSU. On my application I had AP CompSci down for two semesters as usual but I ended up switching later to regular since I wasn’t doing well in AP. I ended with a C in AP and now I’m in regular, ahead of the class with an A. Will SDSU rescind my admission because I switched and it is not on the application? (I only switched to regular first semester) How low does an unweighted GPA have to be to be considered horrible. I did horribly first semester of senior year and ended with a 3.12 weighted and 2.8 unweighted. Is this going to cause harm to my admission? (I received no grades lower than a C)

I asked my teacher if I should email the school about changing classes and she said know but I’d like a second opinion!

no, if ur already in then ur gucci bro

just dont fail any classes and they will probably not care when they look at ur final year report

With a 2.8 GPA, switching from an AP class might be the least of your worries.

You should be speaking with SDSU and not asking internet strangers. But seriously you seem to be letting off the gas (senioritis) – you realize that even with all the distractions, the coursework you’re undertaking is probably very essential for you to do well in September, right? Freshmen stumble and fall – some fail out early. You’re not immune to this whatsoever. You need to ask yourself what level of maturity is acceptable vs. just let life dictate itself to you.

Wow well what do you think the point of this website is? With the GPA I’m at right now which is a 3.6, the OVERALL GPA on my transcript when I applied is still the same even with a 3.1 weighted GPA first semester so I’m still maintaining what was on my application. But what’s worrying me is whether their paying attention to my grades as a whole meaning accumulative or dissecting my grades by semester. It wasn’t senioritis, I was in the hospital a majority of the time since my mom had cancer. I understand that’s not an excuse but don’t assume I’m just being lazy.

For starters, to direct you to an authoritative source if none of us can answer your question with certainty, which is what @T26E4 did.

Have you discussed this with your GC? S/he should be your first source of information and advice.

(And, by the way, rudeness and disrespect for CC participants (such as @T26E4‌) who are far older, wiser, more experienced, and better educated – and who devote their time to help hundreds of “kids” like you – probably is “poor form”.)
