I was admitted to SDSU back in December but my grades for my first semester of Senior year were terrible. A very close uncle of mine passed away back in September and afterwards, I basically lost my motivation and drive. I started to rebound towards the end of the semester but it was too late. I received a D in AP Microeconomics and C's in Precalculus Honors, Physic's Honors and AP Government. I applied to SDSU with a 3.7 GPA but received a 3.14 Weighted GPA this past semester. Will my admission be rescinded?

The people that know work admissions at SDSU. They are going to see your grades anyway so you might as well take the mature approach and contact them now. Maybe you will be fine and your mind will be at rest. If there is an issue there are far more opportunities to work out a solution that keeps your admission now than there will be when they get your transcripts in July.

So instead of posting here you should be getting in contact with them.

You should contact them explaining what you said above, as Mikemac said. Since you got one D which you hopefully can bring up to a C by the end of the year and kept a GPA above 3.0 i would think you’re fine.
