Will my GPA keep me out of CAS?

Freshman year - 3.45
Sophomore year - 3.55
Junior year - 3.9

Cumulative - 3.63

The upward trend is there, but my GPA can only be dragged so high from my weak freshman sophomore years.

And my sat score is 2150, if that shows potential despite my weak GPA.

CAS is rather easy to get into. id say 85% for u.

CAS is not easy at all, been getting really competitive.

But yeah, your GPA's about average for NYU. Solid SAT score. You'll be a strong applicant.

its actually easier than u think. my friend got in with a 1850 SAT, little ECs, 60/189 ranking.

Then he got really lucky. Even for early decision, that's really really lucky. NYU's not easy period. Stern's not dramatically harder to get into than CAS either.

A girl with your stats, 21xx 3.6 got LSP last year. Girl from my school with a 2300 got lsped too.

wat??!! u serious?? o..ok..he went undecided if that helps. i think it does. y would a 2300 apply to CAS? what does she wanan major in?

Man stop talking about CAS like it's trash or something! Future doctors and lawyers go to CAS. It's not easy. Especially not recently.

agree CAS ain't easy
and afterall they look at everything you sent in

who said its trash? chill..NO ONE said its trash..im just surprised by my frds acceptance, and ur frds lsp..thats all..all i said is maybe undecided helped. get ur facts right b4 "raising up ur voice"

They will really like the upward trend in your GPA, and your Jr. year is Awesome! My GPA is similar to yours (3.66), but I dont have an upward trend. You aren't a show in, but you have a pretty good chance.

Okay thanks for the replies. I was just really worried, I've looked around and it says the average GPA for NYU is around a 3.6, but on these boards, everybody is like 3.8+ so it made me pretty nervous hahah.
