Will my grades affect my chances to get into UVa or another top school?

Hi,

I'm a sophomore in highschool and I really want to get in UVa or another top school. I take all honors and I'm taking AP Biology and AP world history this year. Next year, I'm going to take as many AP classes available to me, that interests me. I had a 3.5 unweighted gpa for my freshmen year, and a 3.8 weighted gpa. This year, I have a 3.96 unweighted gpa for first quarter, and a weighted 4.4 gpa. For second quarter, I have a 3.5 gpa unweighted and a weighted 4.0 gpa. The second quarter grades are not final, because I have yet to take some midterms, but it will be close to what I have listed here. I'm in debate club, I play soccer at my highschool, I do crosscountry for my highschool as well. I also go to Model UN conferences when they come up. I volunteer at libraries, retirement homes, and really wherever. I am also in Latin Club, and I take Latin 4, I'm planning to do guitar at the PAVAN program next year as well. Outside of school, I also produce music, play guitar, and draw alot. I haven't taken the SAT yet, but I aim to get somewhere between 2000 and 2200, higher if I can. I want to know if my gpa from previous years and quarter will affect my chances. I would love to go to UVa, and I feel like I'm behind in my grades when I look at my peers sometimes. I feel I can write a unique essay for the college application and make myself stand out, which teachers have told me I can do before. UVa, William and Mary, Stanford, or Duke are colleges I'm looking at to major in Medicine or science. I know I can bring it really hard the next 2 quarters in my sophomore year and for the rest of my highschool career, but has my class rank already been lowered because of my grades, and what are my chances? Please answer honestly,
Sincerely, a concerned student.

I think your GPA would make Duke a reach for you, especially because medine/science majors are very competitive

Duke: Reach
UVA: Aim for 31+/2100+
Stanford: Reach
W&M: Aim for 31+/2100+

Short answer: yes
