Will my high school grades affect my transfer chances?

I did VERY poorly in high school (think 2.5 GPA, only 3 ECs, 1810 SAT), but I'm currently at a community college making a 4.0 GPA...I really want to transfer to University of Southern California...is that even an option with my highschool record?
(for reference, I would be transferring with an A.A. degree)

Any help is appreciated, thanks guys!

After so many credits, they don’t look at high school grades and test scores (from what I heard). I also think it depends on the university, I think after about 28-32 credits they don’t look at your high school transcript (so after 2 years).

I hope so…thanks:)

College don’t request information that they won’t consider in the admissions process. If they ask you for your high school transcript, SAT scores, etc., they’re factoring them in.

lower-division transfers (less than 60 units): HS strongly affects transfer

upper-division transfers (60 units or more): *** is high school?

USC only requires HS transcripts if you are applying with 30 or less units. If you have more than 30, don’t worry about it.
