I recently received letters of recommendation from a volunteer position I have held for the past two years. I received 5 of them to send to various universities and a preview letter for myself. In the preview, they spelled my name wrong, so I tried to get a new batch. They have not arrived, so I sent in the old letters two days ago. The letters should reach all of my schools by Saturday. Will these letters be taken into consideration for admission or is it too late?

If you have a really complicated last name or something like that, I think they would consider the first ones.

No, somehow they mixed up Rob and Ron. Initially got my name right and then messed it up in the rest of the letter. I was just wondering if it’s too late for consideration because decisions will be out by April.

Why are you even sending letters at this point in the game?

Anything helps right? Besides what else am I going to do with them? They’re specifically for college

Uhhh NO. Ever heard the phrase: “The thicker the file, the thicker the kid”.

Don’t send anything else. Your desperation is seeping through. Just try to ride out these last few weeks.
