So I was admitted to the McGill faculty of arts and my acceptance letter said that "my offer of admission will remain valid provided that you maintain your current level of academic achievement and obtain your high school diploma." However, this semester I am doing really bad in my math class. My grade dropped from a B- to a D+. Math isn't a prerequisite for the Arts program and I am not required to take math at McGill. Should I be worried that they will revoke my offer? Does McGill ofter rescind on offers of admission?

So long as you pass all of your courses and programs, it is very rare for an offer of admission to be rescinded.
That being said D+ is quite low. Is this drop only in Math or in other subjects too? If the drop is just in one course, then you probably don’t have anything to worry about…

Thanks for the response, upapilot. The drop is only in Math. I doing well in all of my other classes.

that is a pretty severe drop though… i’d try my hardest to at least past the course. I think for mcgill you need to maintain a 75% average or you may be in trouble
