Will my offer get rescinded if I fail my IB diploma?

Hi guys, I am currently doing IB diploma in Dubai. I am taking my IB final exams on next week. I am really worry that I will fail my diploma right now. I already made my deposit to Northeastern University. Will they rescind my offer if I don’t pass the IB??

I am only doing IB diploma and the transcript I sent to the universities were using my IB scores from my previous internal tests. I learnt from some thread that if you are doing IB diploma in United States (since for most of the schools, IB is optional) and still get a good GPA, it will be fine. However, I did not take any other course besides IB courses so my GPA depends on my performance on my ib exams…

So… If I screw up my final IB exams and do not award a diploma, will it jeopardize my admission ?? Thank you for reading:) I really need some help here!!

IB diploma is not required for admission or to retain your offer of admission. However, if your IB results affect your transcript grades, then it may cause trouble for you.

@T26E4 is correct. However, at this point, why are you wasting useless energy for what probably won’t happen? Predicted vs. actual do not vary that dramatically. Stop thinking about this until you get your test scores back.

@T26E4 I am only doing IB curriculum so indeed the grades on my transcripts were from my previous internal IB exams. But my school counselor already uploaded my mid-year report (my last internal exam grades) to the schools.
So does the mid-year transcript counts as my final transcript?

@Skylar299 not sure how the IB reporting works but I know most universities give a deadline to their admitted students, usually in July, that they need to provide their final grade transcripts to admissions. Not sure if this is at all helpful. Good luck to you! Don’t worry about things that might not be a problem. This process is already very stressful.
