Ok... so I just found out my SAT II scores and I pretty happy with them, considering that I knew they could have been much worse. Anyway, I'm sending a 750 writing, 750 math Ic, and a 650 chem, as well as a 1470 (690 V, 780M) SAT I to Princeton. I have two 33s on the ACT, too. What will P-ton think of these? Especially the 650. We don't have AP chem at our school, so I know that's part of the reason it wasn't higher, but I don't know if Princeton will really give me any "slack" because of that. Thanks-

a 650 will really hurt u. try to retake and try to get a 750? it will hurt a lot

take another sat ii....

i had three high scores, but then i had a 600 on bio-e as well. i was afraid that would hurt me in the end, but it didnt. they will only look at top 3, so take 1 more test if you can.

^what they said.

If anything, try to get your third SAT II over 700.

not to be the one who trumps the consensus, but 650 is fine..don't worry too much about it...if you have been reading some of the ED posts, people with 1500+ SATI and 800s on SAT IIs were getting deferred left and right...focus on everything else....

Princeton "looks" at all of your SAT scores, not just the top three.

really cookiemom? thats very interesting! yea, so they saw my 600 on bio-e, and my 2 on ap chem....i guess they realized i wasn't exactly a science guy...

Take another SAT II if possible, if not make sure you have another plan (e.g. high chem. grades or the fact that you definitely aren't interested in majoring in chemistry). Concerning the "slack" you'll get: your guidance counselor or teacher should most definitely mention the fact that AP Chem isn't offered. If Princeton doesn't know about it, they won't consider it. SAT scores clearly aren't everything in admissions though, so make sure you spend your energy well elsewhere.
