Was accepted under REA '20. I probably got a C in numerical analysis (legitly the hardest class ever). Two-three more B’s in some AP’s. The rest are A’s. This semester isn’t over until the end of January though… I confess that pot totally exacerbated my senioritis
Probably not, but don’t let senioritis get the best of you. The reason you were admitted to Stanford was in part due to EXCELLENT academic potential, not just average. Try to do what you can to pull things up by the end of the semester, and make a goal of keeping it up for the second semester. Believe me when I say, getting in is just part of the equation, continuing to do well is much harder.
Extremely unlikely. One C is rarely enough.
@marvin100 do you know this from personal experience? i too am an REA '20 admit and am nervous about a C+ in BC Calc, all other grades are A’s, but from reading I understand that Stanford is kind of strict about senior grades
You’ll be fine. One C and the rest A’s is not a problem. At worst, you’d get a letter saying they expect you to continue working at the same level you had been in the past in high school. Don’t worry!
Yup
