Will no science in junior year hurt my application?

I am a junior. Due to scheduling conflicts I did not get the AP science class that I wanted and I don/t have any science class in Junior year. I am planning on applying to the Ivy’s and I am interested in a science major although undeclared. I do have 4 other APs - AP US history, Calc AB, AP computer science principles and AP spanish. Will this hurt my application? I still have time to apply for a science course outside of school and take the AP exam. Should I do that? with or without transcript. Please advice.

Most of which will expect a year each of bio/chem/physics, and a year of an advanced course of your choice amongst those 3. If you don;t have that, it will hurt.

She took honors bio in 9th, ap bio and honors chem in 10th and was planning to do ap chem this year and physics next year. If she takes a science next year and with the AP last year , will that count as 3 years of science and 1 year of advanced course?
Can she prepare out side of school and just take the AP chem exam this year?

Four courses in any discipline except English(and math for select colleges), even if in less than 4 years, counts as 4 years. If she takes physics next year, then it’s fine not having a science course as a junior. Self studying for AP Chem exam does not count as a year of science. There may be valid reasons toslef study, but college admissions is not one of them.
