Will not taking the AP exam revoke my acceptance to Cornell?

Hi, I am a Canadian student and I got accepted to Cornell University!
One thing that is troubling me though is that I do not think I will be able to take the AP exams this May like I promised to on my application. This may be just an excuse, but my school does not offer any AP courses, and due to extracurricular activities and course load, I do not think I will be able to self-study for these exams and get a good score. Will not taking the AP exams affect my admission to Cornell University at all? I really really really hope my acceptance to Cornell will not get revoked.
Thank you so much!

Contact them and ask. But I can’t imagine why this would cause problems. Lots of people don’t end up taking the AP exams for any number of reasons - and those are students at high schools that offer specific AP prep courses during the school year. Even if you were to take the exams, the scores don’t become available until the end of the summer, and you would only report them to Cornell if the exam scores were good enough to be used for credit and/or placement for your classes there.

You are certainly not risking your acceptance by not taking AP tests this year. You’ll be fine. Don’t sweat it.

Thank you for your help!
I will contact them and ask just in case though!
Thanks again!

You don’t need to contact them. nice day is correct. Zero APs means nothing to your acceptance.
