I'm taking the Sat 1 in October. But will I have a second chance at the Sat 1 - will November test scores reach in time for ED at dartmouth?

Has no one thought about this??

The Dartmouth website says October is the latest testing date for ED.

Can you give me the link, please? I can't find it.

Sorry about that, I gave you misinformation (I looked at two different websites, one after the other and remembered the other's information as Dartmouth's.) Dartmouth says you have until January to take your SAT IIs. Here's the link: Early Decision.

hmm but dartmouth only mentions SATIIs...i'm in the same boat as spidey and i'm afraid that if i don't do as well as i hope in october i can't really take the SATs again.

by the time november scores come out...won't they almost be done with the decision process?

Ya, I was talking about SAT 1 scores not the subject tests...

Big problem..
anyonE?

Email or call the admissions office. In my country (Bangladesh) the october test will take place on the 18th (re-scheduled because there is EID at the beginning of the month). The admissions office told me that the scores will reach them on time. Ask them about the NOV test.

Ya I got a reply from them, but too late... Sep 25 was the last to register for the Nov. SAT.... (Nov. scores DO reach them in time - that's what they said) But hard luck.

Sucks broseph but I gotta question. How hard is the Math II in SAT subject tests really compared to Barron's practice tests because I'm not that good at math but I could possibly squeeze a 700+ if I studied hard.

Barron often gives question a bit tougher than the actual test.... But that's good in a way - you'll improve your speed and level.

you can sign up for late registration of the november test by the 10th!

internationals cannot... our deadline was sept 25 for nov test lol
