so let's say they do send out some letters this week or next (*hopefully!!) will they also mail out rejections along with acceptances in the same wave?

No rejections come last.

ok thanks.
ugh.... that has to be the worst. waiting and waiting.... and nothing comes....
i love usc so much!!!! I'm thinking about sending them a letter. All its going to consist of is:

"please accept me please accept me please accept me please accept me please accept me please accept me please accept me please accept me please accept me please accept me please accept me please accept me please accept me please accept me please accept me please accept me..."

They're going to mail out acceptances ALREADY? I thought it was going to be "early April"?

Admissions won't admit that they will be sending out any acceptances now. Everyone who has called has been told they will not send out anything until end of March. But apparently, in past years, they have sent out some between now and then so we are hoping they will do the same this year. But no one ever receives rejections until the end- the first week of April.

if i get rejected, spring break is going to suck so much

So basically, if I don't get an acceptance letter from USC by April, I'm not getting in. Oh, the drama!

even though I am just an RHP applicant, if I don't get a response by end of next weekend, I'm going to assume the worst... rejection. That way, I can continue on with school without coming home everyday and ripping the mail box open.

weird story:
One day, USC sent me a big packet. It was in a big envelope. I was excited, until when I ripped it open, it was regarding summer program at USC. WOW. I got so depressed and was getting excited for nothing. I got pretty angry. Actually, to be honest, I was furious to the max. Then, I calmed down. Couple days later, I get a small envelope that was from USC admissions and financial aid. Again, I was excited again. I rip it open and it's telling to CONSIDER applying to USC next year due to my "high test scores" and mail them back so they can send more information. (note: I already applied to USC and waiting for a response but they send me a letter to tell me to consider USC?! Dude, I already applied!!)
amazing. I'm sick of this crap.
I bet this is a prank by USC admissions. They are probably getting a good laugh about it.

sooooo i live in new york, when do you think that i should get the letter, so that if i don't get it by then i can assume that i was rejectted.

how about for Southern California? when do we will get the letter?

Not necessarily... The last batch of acceptance letters also get mailed out at the same time.
