<p>I plan on retaking this class with the repeat/delete option, but I'm not quite sure if the old grade will still show up on the transcripts. I know for sure that it won't affect your gpa. If it does show up on my transcripts, would it look bad on an application for grad school? I previously got a C in the class and I plan on getting an A.</p>
<p>I just found out it will show up on my transcripts while not affecting the gpa. I’m only repeating it b/c its a 4 credit class and I can easily get an A which will boost my GPA by the time i’m a senior by at least .1. I’m still not sure if grad schools will see this as a negative. Does anyone know or had past experiences with it?</p>
<p>Hopefully not. I had a dreadful first two semesters which forced me to retake several general course requirements and drag my GPA up. The first two semesters clearly show up on my transcript, but so does the fact that I was able to pull my GPA up significantly. I’m hoping that’s what adcoms will notice.</p>
