My D has scheduled an overnight visit at Wellesley, and the website says to bring a sleeping bag, etc. We are trying to travel light on this trip since we will be going to plane, to train, to commuter train, to train again (no car)....and will have to carry everything we bring. She's doing an overnight at Wellesley and then at one other school, so it will be the same issue at both. Any suggestions?

My daughter went to Smith without one. They scrounged some blankets for her.

My D did OV’s without taking a sleeping bag to any of the schools - the girls she stayed with figured something out. I don’t think any of the recruits brought them either. D and room mate have also hosted new recruits and they give them blankets and pillow.

It’s no big deal if she can’t, but keep in mind that the floors are pretty hard. All three rooms in D’s suite have wood floors. My daughter keeps an air mattress in her room for prospective students she hosts, but they usually bring their own sleeping bags.
