Will taking golf hurt my chances?

No, this is not a chance me thread.

I am doing a program this year called Post Secondary, some of you may be familiar with it. Essentially, you go to a local college (for free) and earn both college and high school credit.

I just scheduled my classes for next semester. I have a very strict time constraint to choose from because I go to physics first period, drive there, and have to come back for AP Calc and AP English. I have obviously taken the hardest classes possible and will likely graduate valedictorian or salutatorian. I scheduled Beginner's Golf (PE class) as one of my classes. I felt that it was my last semester in high school, so what will it hurt to have a class I enjoy rather than am taking to "impress".

Will I be rejected/rescinded because of this?

Also, it won't show up on my common app because as most of you know, you can't add anything to your app after you submit it to one school.

Also the professor is a personal friend as he has been my personal coach for seven years.

I don’t think it will matter. What did you list for your second semester courses on your apps? If your schedule is different from what is listed on your apps, then you just have to notify the schools. You have good rigor in you high school courses, so I don’t think there will be an issue. What other courses are you taking at the college next semester?

…Sternberg might say you’re lacking in practical intelligence, yet have an abundance in analytic intelligence.
In other words, use some common sense; do you really think taking an elective will force a school to RESCIND your acceptance?

^^I put on the common app that they were “Undetermined (Semester)” because I knew I could always tell the schools later (the ones I applied early to) and add it in the additional info section of the ones I have yet to apply to. And I am taking Art History for a fine arts credit at high school

^My parents freaked on me about it so I though I would ask more educated people. Thanks for your patience.

^Ohh parents…They get freaked out about a lot, but it’s their job. Sorry I was sarcastic with you.
