Will taking subject tests help my chances?

I know they are optional but will they help my application? My family is lower class and I plan on applying to

Princeton
Columbia
Harvard
New York University
Cornell
John Hopkins
University of Florida
University of Central Florida
Florida State University

For those tippy tops, perhaps, but only if you get really high scores. That means definitely above 700, and ideally above 750, as a rough figure.

When you say lower class, do you mean you will qualify for fee waivers? If so, go for it, but if you can’t get a really high score, and it strains the family finances, I’m not sure they are worth it. They are not going to tip the scales in your favor, most likely.

If I don’t get those scores do I still have to send them? I’m thinking of taking Math 2 or Math 1 and US history. I believe I can get a high score, I have a 99.7% in APUSH and around a 91% in Precalc and I’m quite good with standardized testing.

I don’t know if I qualify for fee waivers. My family is low income as it’s just my mom and I and she suffers from chronic pain. She makes around $7,00 a year and around $12,000 a year from a small business but we do own our house ($280,000) without a mortgage. We have a decent amount of savings so this wouldn’t strain me, I was just wondering if it would help and mentioned I was lower class based on income because I saw a pinned post about it.
