So im a senior who just took the October Act today for the third time. I dont think i did well at all unless some magical thing changes that. I wanted to know if the december 14 test will come in time for me to submit to colleges with a January 1 deadline. If not what are my option, as of now my last ACT was a 26.
Why do you think the fourth time will be the charm? Seriously, three times is enough.
Most colleges will post the last date of SAT or ACT that they will accept for their application deadline. Some require all pieces of the application be submitted by the deadline, others allow the supporting documentation to trickle in a few weeks past the deadline.
because the math was considerably hardee than every other real tests ive taken. I usually score high on math and i just didnt do well this time. But if a college application is due January first will i get a chance to submit it.
First - standardized tests aren’t scored on an absolute basis, they are scored on a relative basis. If the test truly was much harder, then a specific equated score will relate to a higher number of incorrect answers.
Second - Almost every college will specify in their admissions criteria the last standardized testing date for which they will accept scores. Have you checked the schools to which you are applying to see if they have this documented?
