I want to buy some stuff for my family/friends from the Official Princeton Store, but i doubt I'll be able to go there after viewing the schedule. So will there be like little stands that'll sell things like shirts, mugs, pens, etc., for cheap prices; prices around $10 to $20?

Thanks for your help, and I can't wait to go!!!

No, you should go to the Princeton Store on Nassau Street. It’s right across campus, and I’m sure you can find the time to visit!

You should have plenty of downtime for shopping on Nassau St; a lot of the events on the schedule are optional.

remember that a lot of the students have discount cards at the Ustore. So ask your host before you go shopping.

thanks guys!
and, visionquest09, are the hosts’ discount cards like those that the admitted students received (10% discount)?

I just got back from Princeton, and the official merchandise is extremely expensive. T-shirts costs around $24, hoodies go from $40 to $65. Mugs are $14. The official store on Nassau street was the only thing I didn’t like about Princeton. There was a 50 percent off sale rack outside–all the merchandise was badly damaged. Don’t set your heart on affordable paraphernalia, unless it’s something very little, like a decal.

Landau’s is the best place in town to get Princeton merchandise on the cheap, but hardly anyone ever pays attention to it. It’s about 3-4 doors before the U-Store on Nassau St., and while the woolens they’re actually famous for are not particularly inexpensive, they have quite a selection of Princeton merchandise on sale - t-shirts for $15, crewnecks for $20, hoodies for $30.

Online Princeton t shirts range from 8$ to 15$, + Shipping is still a lot cheaper

ooh thanks for the info, ray121988! [:

and jw again, how much is the student discount?
