I would really like to know if I have a chance at

NYU (1st choice)-
Berkeley-
UCLA-
UPENN-
Cornell-

I want to apply to their economics department...will applying to NYU EARLY DECISION, increase my chances?
Thank you...I'll chance back :)

uve got a really nice set of ecs there! gpa is fine, but your SATs are weak. what did you get on the Math section (this is very important for those schools)?

650 on math.........i'm surely not proud of that.

Wow fluent in 5 languages... that can get you a great career...

Well, your ECs are great, but your test scores are not. GPA is pretty good, and of course applying ED to NYU will help. I definitely think that you have a shot at these schools because of your ECs, but granted, those alone won't get you into college.

If you feel like it... <a href="http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/621725-took-risk-blew-any-hope-left.html%5B/url%5D">http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/621725-took-risk-blew-any-hope-left.html</a></p>

try retaking that math section. i would say you have a great chance IF you raise that math score to atleast 750+. give it a shot. good luck! :)

wow 1500 hours of cs. impressive. There is something unique about you and I am sure the adcoms will see it too. But, your test scores are below par.
NYU - high match/low reach
UCLA/CAL - Low Reaches
Ivies - high reaches.

Your EC's are great and your GPA is fair. However, your test scores will hold you back from schools like Cornell and UPenn. Do you have time to test again?
