Will they see my scores in time?

I took the Oct. 25 ACT, of which the results will come on 11/12 at the earliest and 12/29 at the latest. I'm applying SCEA to Stanford so my scores will arrive after the deadline. I've already sent my previous ACT score, but it doesn't have the writing. And my SAT reasoning scores are not so good, but I sent them anyways because I had to send my SAT II's. Is it likely that my application will be reviewed without my good ACT score(which I'm guessing is at least 2 points more than my first ACT(32), much better than my low SATs)?

I had Stanford assigned as one of the score recipients, but that won't speed up the process much.
Anyone else in a similar fix? Is there something that can be done?

hey,

I am in the exact same situation....like exactly. Basically, my college counselor said that they will probably receive the scores either before they have gotten to my app or in the middle of the second or third read. They will not have made a decision by the time they get them. I would not stress out. I highly doubt that scores you sent aren't sufficient. I am just thinking that if I am on the edge (they can't quite decided whether to take me or not) these extra scores might help them make that decision.

That's good to know! Thanks!
