<p>i hated my school freshmen year so I wanted to go to a preppy boarding school and now I am a sophomore and it turns out that the school I am at is not preppy at all which is what I expected. This really bothers me so I kind of want to transfer to a real "prep" school but I also think that it could really hurt my chances at getting into an ivy league school.</p>
<p>Honestly I think it increases your chances because you plan on transferring to a better school. There is nothing wrong with that, it actually shows your desire to want a better education for yourself. I believe a good way to search for a good school is by using US News, or another school review website and just look for the best school around you. Don’t worry about Ivy League’s looking down on you about this. But try to find the best school next time around so you don’t move around much.</p>
