<p>Just a question... i know international students have a tougher time getting into college, but is this true for US permanent residesnts too? Is it more difficult for permanent residents to get in than US citizens?</p>

<p>Because most students that immigrate here from other countries
can't become citizens until they are 18.</p>

<p>So a good portion of foreign students are permenant residents when they apply.</p>
