Will this be a problem?

I successfully submitted my common app to my schools before the common app added a couple questions - the only new ones I noticed were to report the classes you are currently taking and then background questions on race/religion etc. Will this be a problem that the schools will all have an application that does not have these questions/answers on it? I submitted within weeks after it came out and I just now noticed these questions were added after I submitted way back when. Will schools care?

bump…

I suspect you’re getting no answers because strangers on the internet don’t know which schools you’re talking about, let alone whether they’ll care.

You should really be contacting the admissions offices of the colleges and universities you’ve applied to, and asking them.

Contact the school directly. You may be able to get around the CommonApp to give your supplement answers.

Thanks, you guys are right. This Common App has had so many technical difficulties I am starting to feel like a nag, but I guess that’s life/part of being persistent. I went ahead and contacted them and realized they’ll already be able to see my current courses from my transcript, but doesn’t hurt to double check and make sure it’s not necessary to complete any additional questions.

My D actually has to send the supplement directly to the school due to the problems at CommonApp.
