Will this count as legacy?

<p>I was thinking about applying to Brown and I have decent stats for an Ivy applicant. My great-grandfather was a distinguished member of the faculty at Brown for years (he was an econ professor); would this count as legacy or help me to get in at all? Thanks!</p>
