<p>I know this may sound super cliche, but I know theatre is my passion, blah blah blah. However, I know that the practicality of getting a god job with a musical theatre degree is slim, so I went with another passion as well, marketing. After college I dream of moving to New York, and I want to know if double majoring in musical theatre and marketing will do anything together. I am going to continue to pursue both either way (And I will hopefully get an Masters, if possible) I just would like to know anyway.</p>
<p>Getting a job isn’t about a particular college major its about the skills you build while pursuing that major. Focus on developing the skills you’ll need to do what career you’d like. As long as you build your skills yes they will do something together and you will be employable. I haven’t graduated yet and I’ve gotten job offers way outside of my career field because of the skills I’ve developed. The degree itself is just a piece of paper, whats behind that degree is what matters. </p>
