I'm currently a sophomore in high school, and would really like to get into USNA. Next year, I plan on taking classes at the local junior college. Some people have told me that this will hurt my chances at the academy, as they like students who have little college experience. Is this true?
Should I...
A- take the regular our college courses a semester?
B- take a few courses each semester?
C- do not take any college courses?

Can only tell you our experience and what our BGO told us–that dd’s 45 college credits were a major factor in her acceptance. She started taking classes as a sophomore and took some music, art, history, chem, physics, Spanish, lifeguarding, and calculus. As she was homeschooled, it was important to have validation of her grades from home. She chose not to do her pilot license through the college as it put her up to full-time status as a senior and no one could tell us what it would do to her NCAA status.
