Well first off we sent in our tax forms a bit late (like a week or so) because the due dates were basically february 1st but there's no way we could've sent it in earlier. The other thing is that one school lost some stuff and we had to resend it and another school's file for me is "incomplete" and we'll probably have to resend stuff there too. My question is will this screw me over even a little bit to have this stuff in late, etc? This is the only college thing I've been freaking out about this whole time because we need a good amount of aid for me to go to a private school. What have you guys' experiences been with this sort of situation? Thanks!

It depends on the school. Some colleges meet need on a first come, first served basis. Some guarantee to meet 100% of documented need, period, though if your paperwork is in late, your financial aid decision may be late, too.
