<p>I really want to go to fordham and praying i get in but i get a c in ap statistics for my first semester which fordham will see. Will this hurt me that much? All the rest of my grades are Bs and As.</p>
<p>I actually wondered the same thing, oxygirl1029. I honestly don’t think a college should throw your app out because of one C. So, I’ll take the optimistic approach to answering your question and say, no, it won’t hurt you. Good luck! Keep praying!</p>
<p>Fordham is holistic in its approach to admissions. But its also very very competitive. They get 34,000 applications for roughly 1,800 seats each freshman class. They admit mid 40’s percentile and have a somewhat low yield due to Ivy League kids, NYU applicants etc…but Fordham is working on that.</p>
<p>Your SAT is a big factor. But your overall transcript analyis (rigor of courses) and gpa/class rank also count. Recommendations can help. </p>
<p>Check out the profile and see where you sit. Generally you want to be above the 50th percentile of admitted students. Good luck.</p>
