So I am a senior and have already gotten my teacher rec, but I haven't read it because I signed the FERPA waiver and my teacher hasn't shown it to me. The teacher taught my 10th grade World History and 11th grade APUS history, and has said to me and my parents that I have been the most improved student he has ever had. Will this be a good basis for him to write a recommendation?

Sorry it probably means he hates…good luck with a bad rec!

Lol just joking but if you didn’t screw around in the class( if your nost inproved it probably means you didnt) and you did nothing bad, sounds like your on track fot a good/great rec!

;)

Yes it sounds like he’d be a good person to give a good letter. Especially since you had him during 10th and 11th grade (multiple times) which should mean he knows you fairly well. And if he knows you well and his opinion of you is good, I’m sure he wrote good things about you. Good luck.

just as a warning improvement implies that there was a period where your performance might not have been stellar, but
I doubt your teacher will dwell on that, and colleges want to see improvement so you are on a track for a great rec!

yes.
