<p>My high school career has been very inconsistent so far, and I'm still only in my sophomore year. I was at a public high school for freshmen year and a term of sophomore year; I then left for personal reasons and was home schooled for the rest of the year. I'm now repeating my sophomore year at a prep school (boarding). However, I plan to transfer to a day school next year; most likely a private school, but there's a chance I'd end up at a public school.
So I'm basically wondering, how bad does this look to a college? I know I could turn it into a wonderful essay about how I learned something from each experience blahblah, but if I want to get into a good school, will all of this hurt me a lot? I won't do stats and schools and all that, because it's a bit early, but overall my grades have averaged in the B+/A- area, and I have a good amount of extra curriculars.</p>
