Will Tuft Think I'm Lazy?

Here are my GPAs. By the end, you'll see what I mean.

Freshman Year: 3.0
Sophomore Year: 3.2
Junior Year: 3.1ish (Got a 2.7 first term due to two bad tests. Had a 3.3 the rest of the year to counteract it.)
Senior Year:
1st : 3.67
2nd: 3.67 on my Progress Report so far (And my Chem grade will be an A after she adds in the next grade, as will AP Calculus. I should get my English grade up to a B/B+ when she recorrects my paper.)

Will I appear lazy? The way I see it, the classes were just to easy for me so I kinda just didn't care enough. I'd answer all the questions, then pass in the test. I made simple mistakes because I never tried that hard because I never really thought I had to; it was too easy. Now that I'm in AP classes, I'm doing well because I'm definitelly smart enough to, but now I'm interested and slightly challenged so I try a bit harder.

I mean does it make sense that I got a B in Algebra 2 Honors when I was a frosh...but I have a B+ in AP Calculus? I want schools to understand why the sudden rise in grades.

They might think you were lazy if you spelled it "Tuft" on the application... unless you meant to use it as a Tuft of hair. To answer your question though, your grades might be considered too low unless of course relative to the rest of the class that's still not that bad. It's too difficult to predict, but they do consider high grades to be one of the most determining factors as to whether or not someone gets in. To what extent that other holistic factors can help you it is unknown to us.
