Hi, I am a transfer student who got accepted to Cal for fall 2011. The dilemma i am faced with is that i did not report two remedial math courses i took on my uc application. The reason why i did not report them was when it asks to select the courses you have taken, under the math listing i did not see beginners or intermediate algebra listed. I interpreted that to mean that i did not need to list them since they are not transferable anyways. My question is will berkeley revoke my acceptance due to that, or is it a non issue?

your fine. They only care about transferable courses and gpa from transferable only

They do not factor non-transferable grades into the GPA they use for admissions purposes, so you will probably be fine. However, you should contact the school as soon as possible about these changes. The transcript you send them is supposed to match the information you provided them on your application, so you want to let them know about your mistake before they see it themselves.

Short version: Don’t worry too much, but inform them ASAP.

If you got As in said classes, I doubt it’d matter. If you got Cs, Ds, or Fs… I bet they’d care.
