SO I just received my SAT scores and currently dissapointed. I was hoping to atleast get above 1500 although I did not instead I got 1310. I really want to get into UC Davis but this score makes me feel hopeless. I currently have a 4.13 college GPA and a 3.96 unweighted GPA. I didnt reall study for the SAT because I just don't know how. Everytime I tried studying, I cannot focus trying to practice those 25 question by myself. I really need help please. :) all my friends got above average and brags their score on facebook, "OOOHHH I got a 2310". I feel so dumb.

When are you planning on applying?
You should take an SAT prep course where someone else is telling you how to study. There are lots available this summer. Then, you can take the October SAT.
You need some help with your grammar noted here. Work on that.

OMG your GPA is just like mines! 4.13 and 3.96UW. But I gotta admit it to you, the 1310 is going to hurt you really really bad. The average SAT score for Davis, SB and SC are 1900, 1750 and 1600 respectively.

If it is difficult for you to focus on your own, I’m afraid a prep class or group studying is your best shot.

Im sorry @auntbea, I am not very fluent in english since i have been living here in US for about 2 1/2 years, I used to live in the Philippines and never encountered this kind of test before.

@AznSkyDragon, Yeah I really want to do a prep class where theres a teacher who personally help you study but My mom don’t really make a lot of money lol.

I agree with a prep class. If you can’t self study, then having someone tell you what to do helps. Being an ELL can help a little, but not a ton. Make sure colleges know you’re knew to the language. Apply to Merced and Riverside as well, they’re averages are closer to your score. Maybe focus on getting the math score higher, since that requires the least amount of english knowledge. Best of luck.
