I see that there are similar threads already but I think I am going to receive three Cs in all three classes I was taking my last semester before transfer. I was hoping to do well enough on my finals, but I'm afraid I didn't. What do you think will happen? What should I do?

Call admissions but they might not be very straight with you. Im in the same boat as you except im only taking one class and I got a C. I called them and they just laughed at me and said “dont worry ur prob fine”. But im still on edge. But yeah id call them.

Did you get in through TAG or regular admission? For their regular admission i believe you just need to maintain a 3.0

Regular admit. At least I passed everything, and I reread the conditions hashed out when I got the admit packet in the mail. It says you need a 2.0 for your final term and 2.4 overall for in state students. Unless there’s something else I’m missing I think I’m ok.

Strange mine doesnt say that? Mine just says to maintain grades at the level indicated and to only notify them if I get anything “lower than a C”

If thats the case though then I guess we’re both in the clear. I just gave my SIR to ucsb today and had to pay the $100 deposit so hopefully they dont pull any bs with me

Here’s hoping. I got a B in one class at least. So I’m on even stronger footing now.

Hi unrealjubb,
Here is my predicament… I was admitted as a Pre-Economics major and finished my Spring semester with 2 Cs and 2Bs. Both the Cs were in major prep courses. My GPA was 3.6 to begin with and now it’s 3.38. Will UCSB rescind my admission? I am sure you know by now
