Will University of Illinois in Urbana Champaign accept me?

I am currently a junior in high school.
My GPA is 3.30.
My class rank is top 40%, 240/670
I just took the ACT test not to long ago and I'm assuming I got in the high 20's possibly low 30's.
I have taken honors classes in all years of math in high school. I switched to AP history my junior year because I felt that I can handle the challenge. (I have a B in the class currently)
I am President and member of Junior Class Council.
Member of Psyche club.
Member of DECA
I have almost no volunteer work unfortunately.
I have a part time job that I have been working at for about a year now. (20+ hours a week)
Overall, I'm a really social and well-rounded kid.

I plan on applying to UIUC in the fall my senior year. My major is undecided.
Also, I have been an Illinois resident my entire life, and I am First Generation in my family.

What are my chances of getting accepted ?

UIUC: High match/low reach

What do you mean by high match low reach?

It’s lingo used on these forums. Safety = you’re in, match = you have good odds, sort of the candidate the school is looking for, but not necessarily accepted, reach = improbable acceptance. By high match/low reach, he meant you’re somewhere in between the two.

I don’t know enough about UIUC’s admissions to give you a chance myself, sorry.

If you do get near 30 in ACT, it would be high match to low reach. If not, it would be a reach. Your GPA is below the average (~3.69) while the ACT average is at 30.

UIUC: High match

Can you accept to attend UIC/UIS and then transfer into UIUC?

Just come back to update with your ACT score. That would be a very important info for chancing.

Legit enough.
