Will US colleges rescind my admission if I fail the IB?

I will give much detail as possible.
I just realized that my Extended Essay has some problems in citation which I’m afraid would be caught for plagiarism with the IB. This was partly due to my horrible time management (I was doing citations right before it was due in November). On the report, I have around 7 sentences that are not cited. I’ve already deposited at a college and the last thing I would want is to be rescinded.

That said, I know that I will still receive my high school diploma. I have heard that IB does not report the reason for failing IB. I have also heard that colleges won’t rescind you based on your status either as a Diploma graduate or Certificate holder. I’m not so sure if this is the same in my case.

Can anyone verify if IB will report if I plagiarized? Under this circumstance, would my admission be revoked? I would appreciate your replies.

Whether or not you get your Diploma because of test scores won’t affect your admission, but plagiarism may. Your guidance counselor or IB counselor is likely to contact the school to which you have committed and let them know of your honor violation, something most colleges take very seriously. Your best bet is to be upfront about the issue and to have an authority figure (not you or your parents) explain the situation if they sympathize with you.
