<p>Will wisconsin take any of my electives into account when they are calculating my gpa, such as psychology and sociology or.... is it strictly standard academic courses like english, math, science, foreign language, social studies???</p>

<p>Also does Wisconsin count +/-s when they calculate the gpa? Like is it... A=4, A-=3.66, B+=3.333, or is all As 4 all Bs 3??</p>

<p>And does Wisconsin count freshmen year???</p>

<p>It does some complicated recalculation forumal that weights in course difficulty. So, if you have a GPA thats not too high, but have a difficult schedule then you have a good chance of getting in. I'm pretty sure only the UCs do the ghetto thing where they eliminate - and +. The university doesn't use + or - though. They do A= 4, AB= 3.5, B= 3, BC= 2.5 ect., and i don't know about freshman year grades.</p>
