Not to get off topic snd I could post this on the gardening thread but I did download the Seek app- free! It’s pouring rain here so couldn’t take it outside now to try but it identifies plants, insects and animals so tried a couple things around the house! See pics below
The New Guinea impatiens (while they don’t like baking in full sun all day, especially when dried out) are more sun-tolerant than the smaller-leaved regular impatiens. So some direct light is Ok, or a lot of bright filtered light is also OK if you keep them watered!
The small, red petunia-like flowers in the middle/upper photo are probably calibrachoa. They like part sun, part shade and probably would do well in your spot if kept damp in the afternoon. They are pretty, spilling over the edges. They come in lots of colors.
Regarding plant identification apps, I use one called PlantSnap that seems to work pretty well. I tested it on the picture of the Potato Vine and it correctly identified it.
