will any of you look at some of my art so that you can tell me how the adcoms will view it?

I will take look. :)

I will take a look too if you want.
I'm interested :]

I'll take a look. And for your other post, how can I see how it will compare to other applicants' if I haven't seen theirs?

I would like to also :]

you can just tell i guess... here:

http://www.andover.edu/art/gallery.htm
http://itg.sps.edu/itg2006/finearts/

just try to tell me if, in your analytical and critical view (as an adcom, not an art critic).. is it on that level? keep in mind, these are kids who have been trained at these schools.. they've had that opportunity. i haven't.

PM your emails to me

some (not all) of the art on Andover's site isn't very impressive, but the ones on SPS's page is. If you think your art is worthy of being sent in, then do so.

send me your email!

you think then that they might be more apt to admit an artist? to boost the program? lol.. recruited artists!

hmm, maybe thats what they're missing!

SPS's is really great. I think that if you are at both of those levels, Blair, that will be all right; they are looking for people who are as GOOD as their students or better.

I haven't gotten your drawings, though!

hey blairt, go ahead and email them to me. ^_^ lol iwould send u mind too, but im not quite done w/it yet and its in a completely different category too.

happy new yr to everyone!

how do you know they're looking for those students??

based on what you saw, would you say that i'm on that level?

If they want people strong in the art department, then they WILL be looking for people with strength in the arts.

Yes, yours definitely matches/exceeds their talents. :)
HAPPY NEW YEAR'S!

still not new years here.. lol.

but are they ooking?

Yes. If they want to strengthen their art department, they will be looking.

how do i know what schools are doing that!?

st pauls seems to be strong in the art (based on gallery)..
andover seems to be lacking
choate is very proud of their art program

Try Choate. They have a VERY strong art program. I'm so proud of it. :D

..so they want more artists? or do they get a lot already, and i would be against more.

i've always thought of choate as elitist. i dunno. i think sps, anover and exeter as more well-rounded and diverse and accepting. i dunno. we'll see. i just dont like how ivanka trump went there. i want nothing to do with the trumps.
